Kiwi English Academy is a great school. It's run by Kiwis with students at its heart. For over 25 years Kiwi has welcomed students from around the world and at the end of their course sent them off to further study , to travel around New Zealand, to work and to return to their home country with great "Kiwi" English.

REGISTRATION AND ACCREDITATION

NZQA Registered

Kiwi English Academy is registered as a private training establishment (PTE) by NZQA ; it is accredited to deliver a unique range of English language programmes for both teenagers and adults.

NCEA Standards

Kiwi English Academy has NZQA approval to deliver some NCEA Level 1 & 2 standards as part of its unique high school preparation course.

Level One Provider

Kiwi English Academy is a category 1 school. Students who enrol for 14 weeks or more automatically get the right to work up to 20 hours per week.

Code of Practice Signatory

Kiwi English Academy is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Kiwi has approval to enrol individual students from the age of 11 and young group students from the age of 10.

TOEIC Test Centre

Kiwi English Academy offers regular TOEIC tests.

PATHWAY PROGRAMMES

High School

Kiwi English Academy's unique high school preparation programme is the best transition to successful high school study. Students not only upskill their English, but also learn specialised subject-specific vocabulary and can even gain NCEA level 1 credits.

Tertiary

Kiwi English Academy has well-established pathways for students who wish to go on to New Zealand tertiary institutions or those in other countries. Students generally take our IELTS preparation course, an NZQA accredited programme, once they have reached B1 (intermediate) level.
